Perhaps for those of us who are engaged in a busy life, we would do well to consider the following:
In these days of stress and anxiety, the question is often asked: How may I avoid trouble down the road? As to our physical condition, we have reference to a heart attack, fatigue, burn-out, or some other physical breakdown.
Many times success and ability cause obligations to pile up, but don't let abilities kill you. These gifts are not always easy to handle. Because of our vanity, they often become our enemy. Stress, conflict, and sleepless nights are often danger signs. Remember! If you are not there, the world will not come to an end. The truth of the matter is I am only one of over two hundred million people in America. It is only what God wants, (not me) that counts.
We can be weary and still forgive. Don't hold a grudge, but hug favors. Be envious of no one: "Lest any root of bitterness spring up." Make decisions that you can live with. Eat sparingly, and not too often. You will enjoy your food and live longer. No matter how great the discouragement, don't quit, don't backup, go on.
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Prov. 3:5)
May you have another good year.
P.S. Behind every successful man is a loving wife.
